Aaaaand there goes another month! I’m a little later in getting this posted than I would like to have been, but I’m getting it done, and that’s what matters, right?
I cannot believe how fast this year is going by… I know everyone ever always says that, but seriously. Time flies when you’re havin’ fun, eh? Anyway, now that it’s November, I suppose it’s a good time to sum up what made me happy in October! Don’t forget to check out What Made Me Happy in September if you haven’t already!
Here we gooooo!
Green Bluff Farms
Last year we tried to go to this farm to go through the corn maze only to find that everything but the little restaurant was closed during the week. Luckily we were able to go over the weekend this month! The corn maze was so cool, and I think Basil was pretty entertained. I was quite surprised that more people weren’t doing the maze, but also totally okay with it. I was expecting it to be crowded and hard to get through because of the people, but it turns out literally everything but the corn maze was packed. Needless to say, we didn’t stay too long because we weren’t willing to wait over an hour for anything else…we only get one full day a week to spend together as a family. It was a lot of fun though and I’m glad we were able to go this year! There was a lot of stuff for kids to do so I’m excited to make this a yearly tradition as Basil grows up!
Spending time with family
I mean, this one’s probably pretty obvious, but Michael and Basil are my favorite people in the whole world. Any time spent with them is great, whether we’re laying around being lazy, going for a hike, or grocery shopping. I’m so excited to see what the future holds for us!
Cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene
I’ll skip explaining this one and send you here to the blog post all about it instead!
Sundays (yes, again!)
The only day of the week I get to spend the whole day with Michael! Sundays are what I look forward to and I’ve definitely been enjoying them so much! It’s kind of hard to only get to see Michael right before we go to bed most nights, but having the full day to recharge together is nice. I’m loving watching Basil and Michael interact too – it’s the cutest thing of my life to see how happy Basil gets when his dad gets to play with him!
Maybe kinda lame, but I’ve had a lot of fun writing blog posts! It’s a nice way to get a little creative and I love reading comments and other peoples blogs as well!
I’m not gonna lie, this has overall been kind of a tough month for me, but taking the time to be thankful for the simple things has really helped me to be more positive. We all have bad days, but I’ve been learning to focus on the good even on those bad days.
Anyway, before I get all emotional over here, I’ll sign off.
Thank you for reading!! I hope you all have an awesome week!!
What made you happy in October?
